The Creatures of ‘Solomon Kane’

A nice little featurette has come online of The Creatures of ‘Solomon Kane’. I am very hopeful for this movie and these clips only increase my anticipation.

Solomon Kane is a 16th century anti-hero created by Robert E. Howard (creator of Conan the Barbarian). When Solomon Kane (James Purefoy of Rome) meets the Devil’s Reaper, he postpones his fate by renouncing violence – a vow that is soon tested by the forces of evil. As Kane once again straps on his weapons, he embarks on an epic journey of redemption.

Looks like a better version of Van Helsing to me.

Looks like awesome fantasy! Having not heard of anything about this before, is it planned to be a wide release?

I dont think it looks anything like Van Helsing personally, the only similarity is the hat which some people may mistake for a Van Helsing ripoff.

The creatures have an eerily similar feel to Guillermo Del Toro’s work, nothing like Van Helsing if you ask me.

I am very excited to see this!
