Hey all. For the time being, until we talk to Rodney to see if he would like to continue posting at TMB or we find a replacement I will help update the site with all the latest news and happenings in the movie industry.
Until then, hang in there!!! We will start looking for people to update the site!!!

It’s not just a website, it’s a community that goes with it.
The Movie Blog has built up a significant community of return readers and commenters who communicate with one another on this site.
Sure the brain of the site is being replaced, but the same heart is still pumping.

Since we don’t know if Rodney will continue posting or until TMB gets someone new, and you will be updating the site I think you should maybe introduce yourself to us readers. Just so we can get to know you somewhat better in the time being.
Basically I am here to help until the site can find a full time writer, reviewer, etc.
If it turns out I am worthy of the task, perhaps I will stay on and help full time :)
I will put up an about me once we edit those pages.

I’m sure finding a full or even part time scribe for the new incarnation of TMB won’t be tough. True, some shoes might be a bit tough to fill, but it is good that the site will continue.

Great to have someone pick up where John left off. I have been reading this site since Ghost Rider. I was just looking for an honest review of the movie and that’s what I found here. Just give us the straight juice and you will do fine!
So how will you go about finding new staff writers? Should interested people contact you or how will you proceed with the matter? Do a search sort of like SlashFilm did recently?
We think Rodney will still be on board with us. What to do about steady movie reviews? I guess we could see if there are any volunteers to do reviews on a steady basis while Rodney and myself kick out news and our own reviews? Just putting out ideas now :)

Im sure anyone from RB including myself would give a nut (or an ovary) to write reviews for TMB

Let me get up something official to gauge the interest level. Right now we are looking for volunteers because, as you can see, the site doesn’t make any money :) There are no Ads.
We are looking to get the site redesigned with a fresh new look as well and will value everyone’s opinions.

Brock, huh, seems to be doing a real good job so far, still, well have to see if he’s personally as interesting as John and Rodney. Both those guys really connected with me on movies like S-M and Transformers, they had that “geek” side.
I guess its better than no MB at all. The MB was literally the first site I favorited when I got my first computer waaay back in the day. I was in quite a dilema when I was getting ready to delete it the other day, glad its not going anywhere!
PS: It was also the first blog I started going to.
Rodney I like your site a lot. John started this world and will for sure create a new one on his next endeavor and i support him %100. I look forward to continuing to read the movie blog and try other sites as well. John had the best Transformers coverage and I don’t see anything on here about Transformers 3 script but I have faith! Thanks for keeping the site going!

Keep it going guys, it won’t be the same with absolutely no John but he’s been moving on for awhile now. I’ll definately continue checking in.

I will miss John’s great insight, but I look forward to seeing what you guys can do. Also, if you are looking for volunteers, count me in! The people on TMB are great, and I hope to see much more from the site!
