This has been a slow week for news with Hollywood on vacation, but because I am feeling mildly abusive, I thought I would inflict it on you.
Brendan Fraser didn’t let anyone know, but he is staring in Furry Vengeance, a cute tale of man vs nature. Oh yeah and Brooke Shields is in it too.
In this hilarious comedy starring Brendan Fraser, a real estate developer moves his family from Chicago to Oregon when his job calls for him to oversee the building of a major housing development. But when his latest project threatens the homes of the local forest creatures, the animals seek revenge by turning a peaceful cul-de-sac under construction into a battlefield of epic proportions. It’s man versus nature and the fur is gonna fly!
Brendan Fraser showed so much potential, and I used to like him in a great number of comedies. But then he seemed to peak with The Mummy, and did well with Bedazzled. But it was all downhill from there.
I am usually a sucker for family friendly mischief films like this one. Thankfully the trailer already exposed the turning point for us letting us know that Fraser is just an unwitting badguy and didn’t know that the forest creatures had family to defend.
Kids will still want to see this. Might be a rental for the babysitter.

This just oozes awful.
Forget the trailer, who wants to watch a movie with a title like that..
WHY?
I’ve never understood why they make trailers like this where they show yo the ENTIRE movie in 2 minutes; not that I was going to see it anyway, especialy with a title that bad.
Sorry saw the headline and thought it was a 70′s porno…
