In the Comics-Video games thing.

Just saw the original Superman again after many moons and you know what? It's still great emotional and exciting. seemed that it had more action early once he got the suit on than "Returns" did the whole film.

That and Gene Hackman no less!

Pitt was great in almost everything he's done .

starting with the stoner from True Romance to the creep in Kalifornia to Legends of the fall to Inglorious.

That said if he doe's one of these it's gonna be cause he's a fan of the source material.

Video Games to big screen hasn't had their "masterpiece" yet, actually some have got close to "master piece of shit"

But sooner or later they will. some have good storylines and characters and solid plots.

and if you take away Video Game from the titles their just Sci-Fi.

I can't believe he hasn't won an Oscar yet. I doubt this movie would put him in consideration, but some rolls he obviously takes just for the sheer entertainment of it. He was nothing less than spectacular in movies like Twelve Monkeys, Fight Club, and Inglorious Basterds. Though many will probably disagree with me, I think he also owned his characters in Se7en, Snatch, Babel, Curious Case of Banjamin Buttons, Assassination of Jess James by the Coward Robert Ford, and so on and so forth. This guy is due an Oscar. Even though Dark Void probably would not be the one to do that, I would not mind him taking on the roll just for the sake of fun.

I'm with you on this. I don't think Pitt should do it. Video Game movies need to be stopped until someone officially can do it justice. Resident Evil is probably the closest thing to decency with video game/movie translations (imo)

I may be wrong, but I don't see him doing this if they threw 50 Million at him. There is a huge difference between Comics and Video Games, and I hate when they are compared. Comics are beautifully translated to film because they are visual stories, where as games are made to be interactive first, story second. Plus come on, the thing I like the most about Brad is he hardly ever picks a bad movie. The guy knows scripts, so it would take a revolutionary/game changing script for him to even consider this.
