Clash of the Titans Teaser Trailer is Online!

While many sites claiming to have the new teaser trailer for Clash of the Titans are instead delivering the merciless hand of YouTube’s copyright compliance to have the video removed from their convenient database, ThinkHero has saved the day.

This looks utterly amazing and I am even willing to forgive the complete lack of golden clockwork owls in this trailer!

All those people who said this was a classic that should not be remade need to look Medusa in the eye and appologize right now!

  1. I almost always agree with your opinions Rodney. But I was not impressed with this trailer. I guess I’m tired of movies relying on pretty visuals to tell the story.

I realize that this is just a trailer and they are probably appealing to a certain demographic.

I hope there is a compelling script and story in there somewhere.

  2. Very cool trailer, pretty damn good for a teaser. Loved the size of those giant scorpions at the beginning.

The only thing that really bothered me was the guitar riffs in the song, rest of the song I thought fit well. I was cool to have that kind of soundtrack in 300, cuz 300 was a comic book movie and meant to be a little over the top and a very male testosterone drive film. Plus it was a very cool soundtrack.

I’m hoping that Clash of the Titans’ soundtrack will be more epic and traditional, but still have a hard hitting side to it, just without modern guitar jams.

      1. LOL, that would be awesome. Do a reversal of how Perseus, from the original Clash of the Titans, had a cameo in GoW2.

This trailer practically looks like Clash of the Titans meets God of War already.

  3. Meh…not impressed. For one thing it lacks the “Greek” feel that worked so well in the original. Withholding judgment, but this trailer doesn’t get me excicted in the least.

  4. “Clash of the Titans” , looks like it’s going to propel Sam Worthington into the architype Hollywood action star. Holy Crap: Terminator,Avatar, and now he’s going to rip Medusa a new asshole. I’m looking forward to seeing Worthington in his new role as an action star. I’m hoping he doesn’t follow the same route as Gerard Butler (I.e. Kicking as a Badass Spartan to writing love letters to his manly love interest Hilary Swank)

The trailer looks epic! The effects look badass! Louis Laterrier good luck buddy….WAR PERSEUS!!!

  5. That looks pretty damned good. I thought the music fit it well, the giant scorpions at the start looked ace, and Medusa? Well, I got chills :-)

The Stygian witches looked a bit like The Angel Of Death (right name?) from Hellboy 2…

  6. Well, I don’t know about “utterly amazing”, but the trailer isn’t bad (aside from the music), the effects are really impressive. I wasn’t looking forward to this movie at all when I first heard about it, but now I think it might be a very enjoyable flick. Why not? I’m there.

    1. Thats because the music, my friend- is from the very epic “The Used”

The song is “The Bird and the Worm”

      Its on my iPOD =P

One of my favorite bands. If you love The Used then you enjoyed this trailer 40 times more

  7. I think Sam Worthington isn’t paid much. He is picking up lead roles in major projects so that he can become popular and solidy his position in hollywood. Once he does that he will slow down.

    1. The music is from “the bird and the worm” by The Used.

I find the trailer to be ticklish fun. I am excited to see how the entire feel of the film turns. I am sure this teaser in meant to play for all generations. A quick shot of adrenaline. All we can do is speculate. But I did enjoy

  8. I think it looks like a fun fantasy adventure flick, but it doesn’t really say Clash of the Titans. I’m looking forward to seeing the movie and I’ll leave my comparisons of the original at the door.

    1. Actually, it does say Clash of the Titans… just check around the one minute mark in the video! :D I gotz jokes, my apologies. But in all honestly, just he mere showing of Medusa makes me think Clash of the Titans.

  9. Yeeeea….. that was a shitty trailer. But I still wanna see this movie. But I think it’s HILARIOUS how you don’t even mention the shittiness of THIS trailer but you make sure to mention how that first Avatar trailer sucked and the second one was “okay” **whiney voice** And that the Sands of Time trailers are wack. haha wow.

    1. I know, isn’t it weird how it almost appears that everybody has their own personal individual tastes and how it even appears that it is not possible to make something that everybody unanimously agrees looks good? What a strange world we live in.

    2. I didnt comment on how shitty this is because I was very specific about how not shitty it was. And I was not saying that the Avatar Trailer sucked, and didnt say that Sands of time was “wack” either.

If you want to make a point, I suggest first making sure you have one.

  10. That looks almost as good as The Scorpion King! Just kidding! I’m pretty freaking excited, this looks amazing. Can’t wait, was a huge fan of the original back in the day, and I (unlike most) am always interested in seeing how a modern version can stand up against an old. Hope this rocks as much as the trailer does.

  11. I’m surprised that Sam Worthington landed 3 roles in major films that all are released within one year of each other. That’s hard even for a big star.Even Will Smith might have like two big movies in a year, not 3. Where did this guy come from?

      1. He’s the rare breed: a badass leading man in his late 20s/early 30s. There are few like him availible; the bad ass leading men are all in their late 30s/early 40s.

      2. I think hed make a good Captain America, but I think hes too old =[

Because like, I wanna see Cap join the Army right after high school, so he will be buff after the super syrum, but still young
