Love it or hate it, Transformers 2 was the biggest at the box office this year and will translate into crazy numbers on dvd/blu. Star Trek (my fav of the summer) also did great, better than Wolverine and will also move a serious amount of units this holiday season. Fox can trumpet today cause after numbers get announced from Transformers 2 next week, Wolverine won't be the top dog. After the holiday dvd/blu season is done with, it probably will fall in each category they reported to the same place it is for the overall summer movies, which as of today is #8. These statistics come from the retail outlets, not by some random person on the street making up numbers to bribe a second film.
