While there could be offers to Embry or Hall, not one actor in the Vacation series has reprised the role. I see new actor. Who I can't say. Could be Jamie Kennedy? However, if Hall takes it, I would think he would be <em> less bumbling</em> and the role be written more straight man, if you will. In fact, that would be the way to go. All the family members are still bananas, and he is the only sane one, slowly being driven insane. It can't be the same old thing over and over again. Vince Vaughn would make a decent next gen Clark Griswald. If they have to make it a Rusty, they MUST cast someone different in every one. No one has ever played Rusty twice. A Vacation movie doesn't really have to have continuity,but it would be great to see Chase and D'Angelo in their roles.
