Uma Thurman talks Kill Bill Sequel

Quentin Tarantino has teased that he might return to the Kill Bill story picking up some time after the events in the first two volumes.
Recently he shared some of his thoughts on a sequel with Uma Thurman who would reprise her role as The Bride. Uma tells MTV that she is encouraged by their talks.
Get The Big Picture quotes Thurman:
“He has not yet finished the script,” she tells MTV. “I don’t even really know if he’s really started it, although I got a taste of some of his ideas and they are really good.”
Of course, in general terms, we know where this could be going. Back in 2004, QT established what he thought we’d see in part three:
“I’ve already got the whole mythology: Sofie Fatale will get all of Bill’s money. She’ll raise Nikki, who’ll take on The Bride. Nikki deserves her revenge every bit as much as The Bride deserved hers. I might even shoot a couple of scenes for it now so I can get the actresses while they’re this age.”
I think it would be interesting to see a scene or two that use slightly younger versions of the same actor without having to result to special effects or makeup to take 5 years off them.
It sounds like Uma is on board and like before Tarantino is brainstorming the story with her. If its a good story I would be up for another chapter, but only if it makes sense.

Loved the first part of Kill Bill, and liked the 2nd part (except for the ending)

I loved part 1 also. I thought part 2 was boring. So I’m on the fence about part 3.
I’m with you. Part 1 was great. Part 2 was a complete and udder let down. Part 2 was a snooze-fest.
I actually liked Part 2 more than Part 1. Part 1 was an all-out martial arts action fest, but Part 2 was a more dialog-intense, story driven movie.

Sounds good, but I’m confused on what they would call it. Would they still call it Kill Bill even though Bill’s dead (omg spoiler)? I think Kill the Bride would be a good title.
I agree, the title would need some tweaking. Even if they kept the Kill Bill part, would it be Volume 3 or would it be Kill Bill 2: Kill Harder.
The first was one movie in two volumes, so this would be a third release but in reality only the second movie.

they could make it a prequel.
Personally I’d call it “Kill Bill: Epilogue”. Unless he actually plans decides to make more than just a third film.
Uma isn’t some spring chicken, she is getting up there in age. If they wait for Nikki to get older in the movie timeline UMA would be old betty and get her ass kicked UNTIL BEBE comes off the TOP ROPE GOOOD GOD! ONLY ON RAW!!

=/ I’m not a big fan of these movies, but I suppose a third film wouldn’t hurt. If it deals with the child going after Uma for killing her mother I’d like to see it.
Part 2 was so much better than part 1.
