It's a media server you run on your PC that allows streaming of Netflix, Hulu, and movies/music/pictures stored on the PC. Last I knew they only offered %10 of their catalog for streaming. when I had the service I ended up watching all the streaming content I was interested in in about a month. So Canada will probably get it as well. In the mean time you could try and make a second US account on your PS3 and see if you can stream Netflix that way. I don't know if that will work or not.
