David Prowse new Film confused for Porn

Sometimes you wonder what ever happened to an actor, like the guy who played Darth Vader in Star Wars – well his physical presence anyways. Well David Prowse is apparently filming an uber independent film set to come out at Cannes.

Too bad the neighbours thought it was porn.

Cinemablend shares:

Neighbors were under the impression that a porn film was being made in a Newhall, Staffordshire bungalow after seeing camera and lighting equipment being brought into the home. The police addressed their concerns and raided the home as the cast filmed a dramatic scene of Deborah Hadfield’s The Kindness of Strangers, which is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival next year. An unnamed crew member said “It was hilarious to see a bunch of policemen enter the bungalow expecting to see a porn film carrying on. When the officers saw two dressed actors talking, they looked quite disappointed.”

I say uber independent as even the ever seeing eye of Google knows little if anything at all about this film.

In fact the producer Deborah Hadfield has a production company that uses a hotmail address, despite a few credits at Cannes already.

I am curious though. Is it illegal to film porn? Why did they call the cops?

Didn’t the neighbors know about the 28th amendment of the US Constitution? The right to film pornographic material within one’s home. Lol

  2. He must have been polishing his shiny helmet. Or waving his lightsaber around. Or feeling someone’s presence. Or getting something jammed in there real good. Or coming in through the south entrance.Or pointing that thing someplace else. Or not doing any good back there. Etc.

I don’t know of anywhere in the world short of maybe some third-world countries, where it would be illegal to film porn.

I find it funny that the moment these people see cameras their first assumption is that a beaver flick is being shot next door, clearly says something about how close these neighbors are.
