Michael Jackson’s This is It Trailer Online

I knew they would be moving fast on this after the untimely demise of the King of Pop. So far the crown has yet to be passed on but it won’t be Kanye West. The footage of Michael Jackson’s latest concert tour rehersals will be cleaned up into a concert/documentary, delivering to us the last concert that Michael never got to perform in front of an audience.

And now a trailer for that limited release has hit the net.

This looks like it is going to be a fitting tribute to send off the biggest entertaining personalities of the last 3 decades. Love him or hate him, there is no denying his impact on pop, the respect of his peers.

This will certainly end up on my DVD shelf.

  1. Wow, Ok i have a few comments to make…
    1. MJ’s music changed a whole genre! a whole music movement
    2. He wears Balmain and Givenchy so I doubt his clothes are stupid
    3. To say he was a drug addict and blow him off, well then I would assume those of you to comment never listen to The Rolling Stone, Aerosmith, Elvis, or anyother musicians that have battled addiction (its a long list too)
    4. Musicians live a life full of exploits (dare i mention Nirvana?)
or should I assume no one ever engaged in the circus that was his death?
    5. Remember how MJ would want to be remembered as a spirit who wanted to incite change in how we view black and white and change it into a rainbow of any color you want!

  2. What bigsampson is trying to say is that this “tribute” film, is really just about money, not the “tribute.”

Clearly he is against that and since that is the case then obviously Bigsampson is against the all films and entertainment, because in the end, that is what it is all about…. MONEY.

Bigsampson, you’re pointing out the obvious, whcih is that probably the majority of the people involved in releasing this film, is doing it for the money, but i’m gonna go ahead and point out another obvious fact… it’s for ENTERTAINMENT as well. So maybe thats why people want to watch this, because its entertaining.

    1. ya thats what i was saying…sorry tooffend anyone but this is pretty sad for a film thats a “tribute” i personally do love his music and have had a very good part of my life in listening to MJ….so thats what makes me so angry is how people continue exploit there so called friend.

    2. Every film is made to make money. EVERY FILM.

At least this one will bring us the concert tour he was hard at work on. There were lots of other people who made a lot of effort for it and it will never hit the road. It will be nice to see their efforts appreciated too.

  3. Can you come up with something original man that has been beaten to death over the last 15yrs, how could you watch that and only come away with that? This trailer looks like it is shaping up to be a fine send off to an amazing talent. Sorry for blowing up but man grow the heck up, and don’t trample on the dead it’s bad karma.

    1. RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE I SPEAK IN ALL CAPS I AM STRONG GGGGGGGRRRRRRRR!!! Listen guy karma is not a religious thing in my context it’s more of a don’t pile on, the guy is gone let him be. If your not into it say your not into it but don’t make yourself look like an ass and say stupid immature crap like eeewww he’s a mutant and I am glad he is dead and everyone who likes him is stuuupiid. Come on, I am only protecting you from looking like the fool you clearly are.

      1. sure thing boss…i acknowledged his skin disorder…..but hey would u allow him to be the parent of 3 kids if it was meth……oh and im the immature person yet u finished your line with
“Come on, I am only protecting you from looking like the fool you clearly are.”

have fun with your movie that shows the last act of a dying drug addict that u worship…if it aint worship then why call him the king of pop instead the king of screwing up and taking with him the financial state of thousands….sorry to rain on your dream but im not trying to have a flame battle im simply saying that this movie is a scam and is just bieng made to capture the lost funds that his concert was suppose to bringin to pay off debts

  4. After seeing certain clips that showed the effort of what this concert was trying to offer, I’m pretty much sold on checking it out in theaters. Some of the footage was pretty damn cool.

  5. Thanks Rodney and John for your fair and even coverage of Michael Jackson and this movie since his untimely death, especailly in light of the fact that many sites have descended into nasty inuendo and disgusting comments, this site has kept it dignified and fair. The guy was an undeniable genuis and created fantastic art and deserves the credit that escaped him in life in death. Appreciate the non bias and positive coverage and love what you guy’s do in general.

    1. I agree, he is a legend. I HATE his music and I HATE his clothing choices but I will even give that he was a pretty good dancer. However, I agree, he doesn’t look human. I still don’t think I will ever be able to call my self a fan.

      1. HAHA a legendary drug addict and all around super freak…hey sure it sucks having a skin disorder but that doesnt take away the fact for the last 15 years of his life he was taking more pharmacutical drugs then rush limbaugh at a pfizer convention….its like when his daughter said he was the best father…sure if bieng a good dad consists of taking 20 zanax a day mixed with some lidocaine and having servents and friends take care of u instead of “the legend”
