Its about dame time Disney stops licking Pixar's balls and get back to good old fashion wrist cramping animation. Still loved The Emporers New Groove. Hercules was a favorite and Aladdin was a genie in a bottle.

Wow, this is awesome. Hearing about The Princess and the Frog a long while back was pretty cool, but now another more traditional styled Disney is in the works? And the idea of them doing a movie version of Rapunzel is just great. Reminds me even more of their other classics.

This makes me very happy to see them really starting to jump back into Disney's roots full on. I mean sure it's just 2 old styled movies so far, that we don't even know if they'll be good or not, but it's a good start, and better then just 1 movie.

I love the original Disneys and as much as I love the Pixar films, I've wanted them to give us more of the classics for a long time now. Great news indeed and I can't wait to see The Princess and the Frog with my girl friend, and it's just a few months away!

Can't wait for The Princess and the Frog! The little we know about Rapunzel seems pretty decent so far. And yes, it will be in CGI, but more artistic supposedly.

I'm glad 2D isn't completely dead yet. I think a lot of the 3D movies lately are soulless.

While I'm a much bigger fan of Disney's "talking animal" films than I am of their fairy tales, I have faith that this'll turn out great, with John Lasseter supervising all of Disney Animation's films. Plus, Byron Howard and Nathan Greno (director and head of story on Bolt) are at the helm, which makes me even more excited.

What they don't tell you is that the new songs on the movie will mention haircare product placements.

"clearly letting Pixar lead their 3D world while they return to the formula that had them churning out hit after hit. Classical animation with their own take on folk lore and fairy tales"

Funny you should say that because on of Pixar's next films after TS3 is a fairy tale in style of old Disney movies.

The Bear and the Bow

The movie is still 3d, not 2d, although it will retain a more stylized oil painting look.
