**THE TRAILER IS NOW OFFLINE. THANK YOU TO THE 230+ OF YOU WHO DOWNLOADED IT IN JUST UNDER 20 MINUTES AND THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS AND EMAILS! WATCH FOR IT ONLINE AGAIN SOON AT APPLE TRAILERS** Hey there guys. I know some of you keep an eye on The Movie Blog almost minute by minute to see new updates (God bless sweet distractions from work) so I wanted to give you guys the first look at our first attempt at a trailer for my new movie “The Anniversary”. I’m only keeping it online for 10 minutes and then I’m pulling it down. The trailer will be back online in a little while on Apple Trailers. Keep your eyes open.
This is certainly a NSFW trailer, so don’t have your speakers turned up too loud. Take a look, then feel free to let me know what you think.

The story of the 3 legged dog is one I have to save for the DVD commentary. All I can say is this… she was the most expensive actor in the whole movie. You’ll see what I mean.

If I didn’t know that John made the movie, I probably would have stopped watching the trailer about halfway through. Maybe it’s just not my thing. However, I still want to watch the full movie just to see what is possible with a regular joe who decides to just up and write/direct/produce a movie. Who knows, maybe as a whole, it will surprise me. I do want it to be good.
I’m really impressed. That ass rape stuff was hilarious. Never thought I’d hear myself say that.

What makes you think this is about insecure 30somethings?
It is about one man with commitment issues facing the results of those issues. The one insecure character in the movie is dealing more with trying to get back in the game. Part of that is insecurity, but once he commits to getting back in the dating scene, he struggles with success or failure instead of just being insecure.
