Olivia Munn Gets Part In Iron Man 2

This will no doubt be the most insignificant bit of “news” today, but because so many geeks among us lust for this chick, I had to mention it. The babe from G4 TV’s “Attack of the Show” (she’s actually interviewed me a couple of times) Olivia Munn has landed herself a part in the new Iron Man 2 movie.
Our friends over at JoBlo filled us in that the half caucasian, half chinese beauty got herself the role.
There are no details about her part, but I’ll be shocked if it’s anything more than a small bit where Tony bangs her after a press conference or something like that, kinda like the Leslie Bibb character in the first one. I loved O. Munn back when she first started AOTS when she had that whole Asian sweetheart vide, but now she’s just kind of meh. Sure she’s hot, but it’s obvious that she doesn’t know shit about tech and games and that every time she “reviews” something on the show, she’s just reading the TelePrompTer. I think that she’s mainly there to give the show a little eye candy, and that’s about it. I would much rather see her as an actress rather than a hot co-host on a show that’s catered to geeks and nerds, maybe this will be her big break.

I agree with bigsampson, you may not think Olivia adds anything to the show, but in reality she is the shows centerpiece. She is like the hot chick on The Big Bang Theory, it just works!
So quit your hatin dude, she has put AOTS on the map, she is the poster girl for AOTS and all her little video clips like Wonder Woman, Princess Leia, etc have made the show extremely popular world wide and her an icon!
Exactly what map? The misinformed douche bag central map? Ya, I’ll give you that one. Before her ATOS actually had informative pieces relevant to both technology and media. Now it’s nothing more than side gags, under produced writing, and Olivia looking hot.
Yea, its a shame a show goes from a few geeks watching it because of technology to having a massive audience. Dang Olivia ruined the whole darn thing.
The show still has good content, its reviews of current technology are relevant and well researched. The game reviews are still spot on, I see nothing as changed other than she has brought mass appeal to a show that was once only for tech geeks.
She ruined AOTS, Morgan Webb has her beat any day of the week. Olivia is fake as hell and her time on screen deserves the mute button. I hope her role is VERY minor, I’m looking forward to IM2.

I wasn’t referring to looks. I was referring to their jobs. Morgan actually knows what she’s talking. Olivia is eye candy, nothing more. Morgan actually has substance to her and I’m interested when she talks.
Munn maybe very nice to look at yes she’s pretty but she is not funny her looks and only her looks have gotten her to were she is now in her career
as far as aots it needs a big change they need
to get new hosts that have good chemistry together the timing of the current hosts just seems of to me and a better looking set

well even though she might not main in iron man 2.I could totally see her suited up as baroness.
Either way if you think she is hot or not. It doesn’t matter to dear ol Tony Stark because either way he’s gonna tap that before any of us would ever get a chance to say hi to her. Yeah Munn can’t really act but she’s not on AOTS for her acting abilities. She’s eye candy and I have no problem with that. Although I am dissapointed that she is on the cover of playboy and not posing nude. Such a slap to the face to all geeks out there, I guess our hands will still have to imagine. Still the fact remains, she will have a small role in the film, Stark will do what he needs with her and brush her aside. Simple and to the point. GO TONY!

I’ve never even heard of AOTS before she came on. I’m willing to bet ratings are way up now than early on.
And like it or not, ratings are all that matters with TV shows.

She’s good looking, seems to enjoy her job on AOTS, has had a few acting roles in TV and in movies before and during AOTS…so good luck Olivia.
