Cold Souls Trailer

Who isn’t a fan of Paul Giamatti? Seriously. Not only is the man an uber talented actor, but he’s also one of the most likable people in the business today. It’s not often that a man is a character actor for as long as he was and then is able to make the jump to a leading man “A” list kind of career… especially one that looks like him (I don’t mean that as a knock on his looks… more like a massive compliment to his talent).

Anyway, Paul has this new movie coming out that looks amazing. Cold Souls. The Cold Souls trailer is now on the web… and instead of me trying to describe the movie… just watch this for yourself:

This looks really good…but is Paul Giamatti playing himself? In a Being John Malkovich kinda way? The trailer says, “This is Paul Giamatti”, and one of the other characters refers to him as Paul. Could be a coincidence, though.

    • Momzer says:

It’s a hyper realized version of Giamatti as imagined by Sophie Barthes. Kind of an amalgam of the most neurotic aspects of characters he has played. Paul nails it. If you enjoy his work, you will love Cold Souls.

It’s a good concept. Not a good trailer.
