Van Damme and Vinnie Jones join Weapon

Jean Claude Van Damme and Vinnie Jones will be pairing up in Weapon, an action flick that will have the two as rival assassins.
The film will center on Van Damme and Jones, who will portray rival hitmen who must band together. Van Damme will portray an expert with a knife while Jones will play a sniper, and the two must join sides to take out a drug cartel.
It’s a good thing that Van Damme is taking himself more seriously and will be mounting his comeback (its a slow comeback – he has other movies) in an action flick.
This is the Van Damme I want to see anyways. Damn him and his own “personal growth” crap. I wanna see him do the splits and punch someone in the groin.
THEN he can prove himself as a real actor and put out some drama or something. Until then, his Kumite movie and Univseral Soldier should at least bring him back into the spotlight.

van damme will always have issues….idk if there good or bad…all i know is he is a pleasure to watch kicking people’s ass’s
They should both drop out of this movie and join The Expendables.
Van Damme was offered a role in Sly’s new film but turned it down.

Let’s not get too hopeful. A few years ago Vinnie Jones co-starred alongside Steven Seagal in Submerged as well as Stone Cold Austin in Condemed Let’s not get all our ducks in a row just yet.
To be fair, Van Damme’s DTV flicks have a slight bit more quality to them, and I’ll mostly see this at some point.
Too bad Seagal couldn’t be roped into this movie. I haven’t seen a Seagal or Van Damme movie in years, but if they were paired up then by golly I would actually buy the DTV!
I read this script and while it promises a lot of action there is little to no character development.

Totally agreed. If possible, he should have a twin brother too.
Thank god they changed it from Steven Seagal to Vinnie Jones. I just cant take Seagal seriously in an action movie anymore. He needs a stunt man just to get out of a car for gods sake.
You could definitely see your expertise within the paintings you write. The arena hopes for even more passionate writers such as you who aren’t afraid to mention how they believe. At all times go after your heart.
