Chris Pine wants to be on the A-Team

Chris Pine is taking this whole “Boldly go” stuff right to the limit.
In an attempt to attach himself to more films than Matt Damon was ever rumoured to be considered for, Chris Pine is not happy setting on being Captain Kirk, Green Lantern, and My Little Pony for all I know and now he is in talks to star in the slowly crawling into existence A-Team movie.
However, Pine has no desire to play Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, the role that seems perfectly suited for the chiseled Pine. Instead Pine says that he’s campaigning to play the role of Capt. H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock otherwise known as the crazy dude on The A-Team.
I have to say that my first instinct was going to be Face. He has that charm and pretty looks that would be PERFECT for Face. But he wants to be Murdoch???
Honestly, if you have watched Sci-Fi’s (SyFy?) Eureka, you would see the original Murdoch channelled in Matt Frewer (Watchmen’s Molloch and Max Headroom). That’s the kind of guy I want to see as Howlin’ Mad Murdoch. Pine can play Face, I am good with that.
But for the love of Zod, we need to get someone like Michael Clarke Duncan or Tyrese Gibson to play B.A Baracus! Mr.T is about as intimidating as Corey Feldman on withdrawl from his estrogen pills.

I still think Ving Rhames would Be The perfect BA…
Truthfully, with regards to B.A…I feel that Terry Crews would be the most ideal suitor for the role.

Pine would be a great Murdoch. Lets remember his role as one of the crazy brothers in Smokin’ Aces. He can certainly be the funny crazy if needed.
This dude is tailor made for Face. He needs to accept the “burden” that his looks have pigeon-holed him into………lucky bastard.
I really like Chris Pine. I think he is an up and coming big star and has lots of talent, and I REALLY look forward to the new Star Trek film! Granted he was in some not so creative movies, they were still entertaining. Blind dating and Just My Luck comes to mind.
Matt Frewer would be brilliant as Murdoch!
DirkAnger23, how can you say that just because this guy has good looks, he always has to be attached to good loonking characters? For once you have a guy who wants to go the whole nine yards and not just be the pretty face and you tell him that he can’t play a roll because he looks too good. He could play mother Theresa if he wanted to and if he really worked on it. Let him have a shot. If he’s not good, pick another one.
One minute he looks really good, then he just looks like a serial killer. I can’t decide whether or not he’s attractive. Oh Captain Kirk, why so confusing?
An A-Team movie sounds absurd, no matter who is in it.
