Leighton Meester gets a Roommate

Leighton Meester has signed on for a thriller called The Roomate for Sony. Meester will become the target of an obsessed dormmate.

ComingSoon says:

The story follows Sara (Meester), a college student who is randomly assigned to a freshman dorm with a stranger named Rebecca. Things turn deadly when Rebecca becomes obsessed and begins targeting people in Sara’s life.

I really enjoy looking at Leighton Meester. The girl has classic good looks and a physical presence that makes me all tickly inside like climbing the rope in gym class.

I also think that Meester has the chops to take on a role like this that might break her out of her post teen soap stereotype. They have yet to cast the crazy stalker roomate, but I think this type of movie is easy to build some suspsense and have some loon harass the crap out of her until she finally figures out what to do about it.

I don’t know about her acting i felt that she was week on Entourage but she is hot. Its cool how her parents use to smuggled marijuana from Jamaicato the us she can do a movie about that to.

I agree with you! It’s nice to see her expand from TV.

She’s the best one on the show, she has good comedic timing and can show actual emotions (not only pouting and frowning like the rest of the actors in Gossip Girl).
