Drag Me to Hell Trailer Online

I am not a big fan of Horror, but I can get sucked into a film if it is done well. Torture Porn, and repetitive slasher flicks don’t do much for me, but supernatural stuff and that hopeless fear that you cannot do anything to stop it just freak me out. So Sam Raimi’s latest effort Drag Me to Hell looks like it just might have that in spades.

Latino Review describes it:

The film tells the story of Christine Brown (Alison Lohman), an ambitious L.A. loan officer with a charming boyfriend, Professor Clay Dalton (Justin Long). Life is good until the mysterious Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver) enters their lives…and everything begins to unravel.

When her loan is denied and she loses her house, the shamed Mrs. Ganush places the powerful curse of the Lamia on Christine, transforming her life into a living hell. Christine is tortured and desperate to have her old life back, so she sets on a quest to reverse the spell. But as evil forces close in and threaten to drag her deep into hell, Christine must face the unthinkable: how far will she go to break free of the curse?

  1. AWESOME isn’t enough for this cool trailer,i agree totally and completely, that torture porn bores after awhile, but this is what horror should be made of.the supernatural is hard to outwit if not impossible, but people killing girls and jock dudes who’s truck ran out of gas in a old rundown town with a loony wielding a knife is just plain LAME.

  2. Saying Raimi was the director of The Evil Dead trilogy was a good call but mentioning Spider-Man doesn’t really fit when talking about a horror movie and just kind of made me chuckle a bit.

  3. ohh no. Not another cursed/possessed girl. I can’t take it anymore!
“please listen to me… there is nothing coming for you” , always! always!!
It’s not easy to be a horror movie fan these days…

  4. movie looks kick ass…funny that the guy above put a date on when horror movies started to suck lol….
me personally i started to not watch horror movies when they started making japanese films into american films…personally i think all the adaptions have sucked..let alone shit like standing in front of a tv when someone is coming out of it is just stupid….or wtf the tooth fairy…to me horror movies in hollywood have sucked fora while with few cases….this though….looks bueno

    1. yeah stuff coming out of tvs is not scary at all—-they’re hereeeeee.
      Agree on the adaptations.
Where did all of the originality go?
Damn it Hollywood!! give all of those original scripts you got lying in the trash another read…I’m sure there is a diamond in the rough somewhere.

  5. Eh. It’s a horror movie. That genre jumped the shark years ago. The genre needs a well needed break and given some time to get people interested in seeing horror again, not the horror fanboys. They’ve been running out of ideas for years.

    1. Hardly…here is plenty of decent horror out there, it just dosent make the big screen anymore as we all know 18 rated films don’t do that great at the box office these days.

    2. “the genre jumped the shark”!!??!!??

yeah i mean all horror movies are exactly the same.

its not like there are different genres of horror within the “horror” genre itself to give you a wide variety of different types of films to choose from.

    1. Agree, finally something with substance.
After watching that, I’m going to be brave and say this one could rival Exorcist,OMEN,Friday13th or the night at my cousins house when we secretly watched Evil Dead while his parents where out. I was 10yrs old.
