Moonlighting: The Movie!

Moonlighting was one of the biggest hits of the 80s and it introduced the world to Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd. So it was only a matter of time before the 80s barrel gets scraped for some of its quality gems for adaptation.

But in the case of Moonlighting, it is different. Both of its stars may return for the movie.

With the current addiction to revisiting ’80s themes, it should come as no surprise that there is now talk of a Moonlighting movie (via Variety). However, unlike all of those reimaginings and stories for a new era, this project is being touted as a reunion. Oh, yes! It seems that creator Glenn Gordon Caron wants to reunite Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis for the series’ 20th anniversary.

As a child of the 80s and like most fans of the show, we all thought Cybill was hot and all wished we were as cool as Bruce Willis (still do).

But to see a reunion movie? Awesome.

This is a rare opportunity for a movie based on an 80s tv show since both actors are still around in some acting capacity.

Bruce hasn’t lost one bit of his charm and Cybill is proving shes got it on The L Word.

Not many other 80s shows have this much potential to really bring back the characters they both made so famous.
