Aaron Johnson takes on Lennon in Nowhere Man

Nowhere Man, the biopic telling the story of a young John Lennon has found its lead. Aaron Johnson.

Cinematical says:

John Lennon, who will be played by the 18-year-old Aaron Johnson. The actor hasn’t made a heartthrob name for himself yet, but you might recognize him — whether it be as Charlie Chaplin in Shanghai Knights, the younger Ed Norton in The Illusionist

Little trim of the hair some iconicly round specs and this guy is well on his way to looking the part, but more likely we will be introduced.

As I understand, the film will focus on his childhood and subsequent journey to icon status so this younger actor would be perfect to fill the part. I don’t know that the story will extend into his career with the Beatles and his tragic death in 1980, unless they announce another actor to play him in his late 20s to 40.

It would be hard to do a biopic of Lennon without involving the Beatles, however it would be hard to do a Beatles biopic without Lennon.

To see his humble origins sounds just like the kind of film I would like to see.
