Earlier this week, it was reported that Fox has treatment for Speed 3, that includes Officer Jack “pop quiz hotshot” Traven – played by Keanu Reeves. I guess everyone assumed Reeves would be interested.

“I don’t know if they are going to make another one, and if they are it won’t be with me… honestly!”
That said, Reeves seemed to entertain the idea of another Bill and Ted movie:
“Maybe we could do it with them both grown up — they haven’t saved the world and they’re just living their lives as middle-aged men. That sound’s quite funny.”
So it sounds like with Speed 3, they didn’t even approach or mention it to Keanu. He is clueless about it and has no intention to return to the franchise. He didn’t do Speed 2, so why would they think he would do Speed 3. Is he suddenly hard up for roles?
But on the other hand the pure fun of seeing a more mature Keanu return to the role of Theodore Logan in a Bill and Ted movie is hard not to speculate. Much of their timetravel goodness revolved around them not forgetting to do something which inevitably ended up aiding their silly schemes. So what if they missed something and all their future domination of awesomeness that leads to world peace was somehow averted and the slackers had to live up to the reality of dead end jobs and a pointless existance.
Maybe Rufus will come back and save them from a future where Britney Spears is president.
Dudes! Bill and Ted Three would Be the SHIT!! I mean seriously, The only thing they need is cast Keanu and Alex as Ted and Bill of course, if 1 of them doesnt want to do it, then DONT FUCKIN DO IT! u cannot I REPEAT CANNOT do a bill and ted movie without those two, it would blow up in the makers faces and Fans like me will be Pissed off for the existance of a non Keanu and Alex bill and ted movie, Movie makers already piised me off witha Ace Ventura 3 ya they made one, and i refuse to see a Jim Carreyless Ace Ventura, its with some stupid kid. anyway i have this to say, Keanu, Alex, DUDES! legends! Please i beg u Do a Third one, Do it for the fans of your movies, It will be most excellent! dont let some other actors do it, because i think i speak for all Bill and Ted fans when i say if u guys arnt in it, I will NOT see it. Be excellent to each other, AND PARTY ON DUDES!!!!!
Would love to see a third Bill and Ted….sequels always come in threes…been waiting for this for ever

One quick question? How can you make another Bill & Ted movie? Rufus couldn’t be in it. George Carlin is dead, remember? I don’t know if that would be worth it, honestly. As a concept, it sounds funny. But it’s a little bit too late, I think.

That popcorn flick that you think might get him 10-20million is a tired dead franchise. Who wants ANOTHER film based on a runaway vehicle?
It was a great first movie – good action, great concept. But you cant keep doing the same gag.
At least with Bill and Ted they can come up with something interesting that people would like to see.

So let me get this straight…No I won’t do an action popcorn movie that would net him a check at 10-12M but he’d rather do a comedy that was aimed at teens almost 20 years ago, that “might” make him 3-5M? I smell something fishy here. (Unless the original Speed management team killed his dog or something…)

I’m up for Bill and Ted 3 all the way, although I will miss George Carlin. Keanu Reeves was at his best in those movies. They’ve already traveled through time and the afterlife, so a new movie would still need a good gimmick.
