GI Joe Character Posters

A bunch of GI Joe character posters has been released for public consumption. These actually leaked out on to the web a while back, but the studios asked the websites to take them down… which we did.
I still have very little hope for this movie… not “no” hope… just little hope. But I will say that I dig the way the characters are looking. Especially Snake Eyes. What do you guys think?

Talk about spinning the same look. isn’t this the look Star Trek did just a month ago. maybe they should get rid of everyone in Hollywood and get some new blood.
The Baroness and Snake Eyes are the only two I could identify without help. Duke and Ripcord look nothing like their toy/cartoon counterparts. Ripcord could easily pass for Roadblock and Duke…well…I would never have guessed.

Snake Eyes is the one image most of us have seen for six months now. It’s still good. The Baroness looks great; if Ms. Miller still likes slightly older guys, say late 30′s and who are unmarried/single, can I stand in line?
I can’t take the pic of Marlon Wayans seriously. I don’t think he was a great choice for the role…

i never saw gi joe on the tele until a few years ago
I never watched G.I. Joe ever, but I’ll probably check this out if the trailer has enough babes, bombs, and kung fu in it. It’s one of those movies I’m rooting for as a guilty pleasure next year.
I’m underwhelmed by the color palette. Are they filming this in black and white?
The posters are boring and I have little hope in this movie, but it would be cool if it surprises.
