Disney Pictures LogoDisney is set to bring us The World’s Most Annoying Man. We get wind of this project thanks to our friends at the movieweb:

Walt Disney Pictures will be bringing some annoying hilarity to the silver screen. According to Variety, Disney has picked up the spec script The World’s Most Annoying Man.

Kevin Kopelow and Heith Seifert wrote the project on spec about a man and his annoying brother who are forced to travel cross-country to make the man’s wedding on time. The film is said to be in the vein of Planes, Trains & Automobiles.

Back in my youth Sir John Lovitz would sometimes play the character “the annoying man” on SNL. One day I mimicd his behavior at the family dinner table and my mother slapped me in the mouth! Verily he nailed his execution of annoying, when a copycat can be slapped by his mother for mimicry of the character.

What I am trying to say is that there is one man for this job, and his name is John Lovitz.

I find it funny that nobody else has mentioned that your commentary on this report literally had them lying on the floor laughing at the sight of you getting slapped for imitating Jon Lovitz. Because I sure was. Maybe it is because I had found myself in situations similar to that a couple times.

    In any case, bravo Doug.
