Clint-Eastwood-PostersWe have word today that Mr. Eastwood will be back in the directors chair for the supernatural thriller Hereafter. We get the scoop from our friends at comingsoon:

Clint Eastwood is in talks to direct the supernatural thriller Hereafter for DreamWorks Pictures, says Variety.

The company, led by principals Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider, picked up the spec script written by Frost/Nixon scribe Peter Morgan in March when it was still a part of Paramount Pictures. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it is described as in the vein of The Sixth Sense.

I like Clint but am not usually too enthused about supernatural thrillers. If Satan is involved however, then I’m a bit more pumped. Satan ensures a bitchin’ soundtrack.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted on the details regarding this film and with luck, we will have some Satan.

Frost/Nixon looks awesome; I look forward to checking it out. My enjoyment of that film will certainly affect my anticipation of this one. Peter Morgan work your magic.
