Screw you guys. A super villain is so gay. What message would that send? Oh being the bad guy is awesome. It’s just lame. You never hear about assassins anyways and the ending was brilliant.

I loved the first film. As good as anything in the Matrix series, and one of the best films of the year in my opinion. Can’t wait for a sequel.

Millar has said he’ll be involved in any sequels to Wanted, so his involvement isn’t an issue. The first movie was only loosely based on his graphic novel anyway, so it’s not a big deal that Millar never wrote a sequel for them to base a movie sequel off of.

Unexcited. Wanted had a great chance at being an awesome action movie. The concept was compelling, the cast was extremely talented. But unfortunately, none of that matters when you have cars that drive along buildings, jumping over a bus, etc. It totally deflated my movie boner. And that hurts whoever-made-that-creative-decision.

I realize that I’m probably in the minority with my complaint. But thats my opinion, and the reason Wanted wont be finding its way into my Bluray collection (or DVD collection)(or VHS collection)(…etc)

After reading John’s review I was so looking forward to the movie. But man was it a piece of crap! I don’t know what John was thinking and I really can’t find anything redeeming about this movie other than Jolie’s ass!

But I am really interested in the graphic novel after reading taylordubose’s review. I was so turned off by the movie I just had no interest in picking up the graphic novel. But now it seems like the book was way better than the movie so I might pick it up after all.

As for the sequel you can count me out for that. Not wasting what is now 12.00 bucks a shot in NY.

To put it blunt. The film is crap. The main villain in the comic was reduced to a dead body on a bed cameo in the film. And a mere mentioning of his name was just as insulting.
Other villians from the comic were ommitted and if they stayed close to the source material I would have enjoyed it. But this film is drivel and not worthy of a sequel. Buts that just my opinion.

Please tell me how does a movie you think was good suddenly go bad if you read a comic? If you don’t like a movie thats fine, but if you thought a movie was good,,reading a comic doesn’t change the movie not one bit.
