that’s interesting, the music was creapy, and a really effective teaser, I just wanna know more now, but I kinda think the whole disaster flick thing is a bit tired, I dunno. Poor monk.

AWESOME!!! May there be No plot. None. Just one catastrophe after another!!! He hasn’t had a great movie with a plot since Stargate, (and 10,000 BC really should have had a Stargate in the ending…) but he makes a fun Apocalypse!

At first I thought it was a fan trailer made up of other movie footage for a Sarah Palin becomes president in 2012 and the world ends kind of movie.
As always Emmerich gives us a fantastic teaser and then lets us all down with a crappy film.

Another Roland Emmerich shitty film. This teaser actually looks just identically like day after tomorrow, except that intead of flooding the statue of liberty it floods some mountains. So original.

I doubt anything signifcant will happen on December 21st 2012. The date is a red herring, based on a calender system that is man-made. I accept that every 4000 years or so a major event happens on earth that wipes out civilisations, and probably involves an inundation of water from a pole shift. My guess is that if a pole shift ever happens, it will occur between 2009-2014.

Well first off, the “Y2K” scare was a bunch of bullshit, a theory that mankind would be killed by the machines it made, come on what is this, the terminator? of course that was a big hoax, but the 2012 theory, pretty solid facts back the predictions up. the reason the movie is coming in 2009 and not 2012, well, if the world does end in 2012, who would be able to watch it lol. anyways, the reason he made this movie is because Roland Emmerich is a believer himself, he said that in his research on the subject he noticed that so many countless millions believe in this theory, there are top NASA officialls and government officials who also believe, now there are some fake rumors people are throwing into the 2012 blender, the elleged “Nibiru” planet that is supposed to hit earth is bullshit. it will not hit us. it will however come between the Earth and the Sun, which will make a sort of cosmic eclipse, the results upon our planet however, is unknown. But heres an even creepier fact: the Bible says that in the end of days, a red star will pass by the Earth, killing a 1/3 of the ocean wildlife. its funny, becuase according to NASA, planet Nibiru, is in fact, a red planet. Polar shift WILL happen, the Sun has already made a complete polar flip in 2004, believe in Global Warming? LIES, its called Polar Shifting, which effects everything from wind, rain, gravity, ozone. the real reason why the planet is slowly heating up is because we are drifting closer and closer to being in the exact center of the galaxy, or as NASA calls it , “The Dark Rift” of the Milky Way. Dec 21st, 2012 at 10 A.M is the exact date and time in which exact center alignment is. anyways, watch the movie, hopefully it convinces others, cuz when the date comes, what if it is real?
