Milla Jovovich Joins Clock Tower

Milla Jovovich has joined Brittany Snow for the upcoming video game film Clock Tower. We get the skinny from Bloody Disgusting via cinematical:
Bloody Disgusting has confirmed that Jovovich is set to star in the big-screen adaptation of Capcom’s horror-survival game, Clock Tower. Even though this news is still in the rumor stage, BD is confident that Jovovich is already on board.
News of the film first surfaced back in April, and last month Variety had announced that Brittany Snow (Prom Night) signed on for the lead. According to sources, Jovovich will play “a woman in a psych ward who befriends the lead character, played by Snow, when they discover a shared family history. Meanwhile a psychotic madman dubbed Scissorman is pursuing her and keeping the family curse going strong.” Eric Poppen (Borderland) was tapped to write the script, and even though there are some conflicting reports regarding the story, the general consensus seems to be that the film will be loosely based on the second installment of the series.
Milla may soon become the Queen of video game adaptations if she keeps this up. I’m not sure that’s a crown that she wants to wear, but she’ll certainly look good doing it. I thought Resident Evil was ok at best, horrible special effects made the movie worse – that is for certain. That tongue beast was ridiculous.
To date I think my favorite Milla role has been in Zoolander. I haven’t cared for her in much else (and people usually disagree with me here), but I will concede that she was great in the Zoo. A Stern look is good on her too.
I am unfamiliar with the Clock Tower game, so I’m not that buzzed to see the film. For those of you that are fans of the game – what do you think of this casting?

“Kuffs” and “The Messanger: story of Joan of Arc” are my to picks for Milla films. Though, I agree… she was good in “Zoolander” as well.
I can’t believe she was even in that “Ultraviolet” movie. That movie was fucking horrible! Let’s hope this is better than that!

I loved Kuffs, that was great! I dunno, I kinda liked Milla in Fifth Element, but she was good in Zoolander. Isn’t she supposed to be really young in this next movie? How is she gonna pull that one off?

There has been a rumour that milla Jovovich will not star in the Clock Tower film according to Ace Showbiz,so now the production of Clock Tower will start in November and Brittany Snow is set to star.
