Johnny Depp Crowned Sex Lord By Cosmo
The saucy scoop lords over at Cosmopolitan have polled their readers to see who the sexiest man living today was; and Johnny Depp took home the gold! We get the following scoop thanks to the good people over at IMDB:
Johnny Depp is the sexiest man in the world, according to a new survey. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor beat off strong competition to be crowned the fittest male by Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine. George Clooney came in second place, closely followed by Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal in third. James Bond action man Daniel Craig was fourth in the Sexiest Men poll of readers, and new dad Brad Pitt rounded out the top five.
Eat your heart out Richard Greico, Johnny Depp remains the sexual king of Jumpstreet. It is no secret that the ladies love Johnny D. but he continues to keep the title year after year, fending off waves upon waves of fresh man meat.
For our man loving international friends, I ask you – is Depp at the top of your list or would have placed another celebrity higher? Actually it doesn’t have to be a celebrity at all; if you think you local butcher is hotter than Depp – let us know. The question however remains – Is Johnny Depp the most delicious man on the globe?
It should have been Jeffrey Jones sir. He is the sexy man. This list is a sham and I don’t agree with it.

Johnny Depp is definitely one of the most delicious men out there and I’ve been swooning over him since I was a teenager. I can’t say that about any other actor I’m a fan of.

Once again, Doug proves how much of a hero he is by catering to the ladies. The Pleasure Witch is a lucky lady indeed!
There is no denying that the Deppster has magnetic pull. He’s high on my list but for me, he’s not my personal number one. At times, he can look unbearably sexy (he’s never looked hotter than in Sleepy Hollow, personally), while other times he looks like a smelly homeless schlub. It just depends. For a guy to be my number one, consistent hotness is key. For me, The Rock has been my number one since 1997. I took one look at that guy when I was 12 and puberty kicked in like gangbusters.

Seeing as how this is sexiest “man” in the world, and not specifically “actor,” and speaking in the most heterosexual terms possible–I’m very surprised David Beckham didn’t at least wind up in the top 5.
