The movie was good. Can’t say it was one of my favorite movies out there but it was good. The only thing I had a question about was, I thought the more the hulk got mad, the bigger and stronger he got. But I did not notice him getting bigger or stronger. Also did anyone else notice Terrance Howard at the end of the movie? Does that mean they are in the works of making Justice League?

The Incredible Hulk was way better than Ang Lee's Hulk but I thought that one of the weakest points of The Incredible Hulk was the ignoring of the complexities between the character of Bruce and the Hulk. One of the original Hulk's strengths was that it got the whole bit right about the Hulk being a manifestation of Bruce's anger from his childhood. I think the next film should touch back on the subject but not in the ultra-serious way Ang Lee did.

Just watched all the deleted scenes on the DVD and I thought they were awesome. They weren't action-packed but rather dialogue-heavy. And the dialogue was great. This is one instance where I would love to see them double-dip on the DVD and give us an extended version with all the clips restored. Doc Sampson's character was great (BTW that dude should be tagged if they ever remake Psycho (again) and need a new Anthony Perkins!) His relationship with Betty was great to see and added so much to the story. Also, the extended conversation between Blonsky and Ross was fantastic. Ross had soooo much more development and reasoning than was in the theatrical cut. This Director's Cut would rival Daredevil as far as improving the finished product.

I think the sequel should be like so: Bruce is finally understanding the Hulk, and controlling it. Unfortunately, a new persona has appeared: The Grey Hulk(Joe Fixit for the comic-readers). While Bruce sleeps he changes into his own Hyde, and causes havoc for fun, ruining Bruce's new "hero" rep, and getting the General down his neck again. And on top of that, The Leader(Sam Sterns from the lab) has become a gamma mutate as well, and has begun experimenting with Bruce's blood, producing more and more gamma monsters. Bruce must eliminate the Grey Hulk, as well as stop The Leader from perfecting his gamma army. Perhaps ending with Bruce & Hulk becoming one(aka smart hulk)?
I also hope they can persuade Norton to come back. You are on top of this shit Doug! It's too bad we'll never see you on Uncut again. You're the random yang to John's serious yin. What will we do without you?

If Hulk pops up in cameo roles, it should only be as Hulk. No need for Banner. Banner is not that much of an interesting character IMO, not like Bruce Wayne of Clark Kent. Really, there's only so many times you can put up with the story of Banner trying to suppress his inner monster before you just get sick to death of it. There's never any real character development with Banner, just the same old stuff over and over.

Hulk was a good "action" based action movie. It did what it did quite well. But next time around, I'd like to see even less of a focus on Banner. That story has been told. Why not spend some time on other aspects of the Hulk character like Joe Fixit, or Smart Hulk? Either of those persona's could bring a whole new angle to Hulk that hasn't already been played out.
