Columbus Short Dishes About Lethal Weapon 5

Posted by on 07. 10. 2008in News Chat

It looks like actor Columbus Short is in talks to star in an upcoming Lethal Weapon project. We have a clip of his discussing the news thanks to IGN

I don’t think we need another Lethal Weapon film, but if the story is a final chapter, that has more appeal to me. When I saw Shane Black speak at the La Shorts Festival he mentioned that he had the script finished for this and that he was proud of it. Seldom do people sell their work as being “horrible” but he seemed genuine in his statement.

What do you guys think? Would you be game for a Lethal Weapon finale, or do you want these plans to stop dead in their tracks?

idk i kinda think glover is a douchebag…i know sure screw bush and the republican agenda but the way he has chavez sucking up to him cause he was once a big time star is sad ….but anyways im down but it better have lots of nostalgia .

I welcome another LW movie, I liked all 4 of them, Gibson & Glover have great chemistry as a team, and to see them close it out with one last case would be cool. besides, Gibson desperately needs a hit, and this would pretty much guarantee that.
