Bedtime Stories Poster

We have a poster to share with you for the upcoming Adam Sandler Disney picture Bedtime Stories thanks to our friends over at moviesonline:

Poster Bedtime-Stories

It’s just peculiar to have Adam Sandler star in a children’s film. I’m uncertain why they selected him to play the role. I don’t think he’s a good fit at all for children’s films and after seeing the trailer last night, I think I’ve seen enough of the film to confirm my suspicions.

This still may turn out to be great – who knows. But right now it seems like they picked a lead that doesn’t fit right. It could have been worse mind you; Busey could’ve gotten the gig. Garey Busey stars in Drunk Uncle Wonder Dreams.

  1. I would def. see “Drunken Uncle Wonder Dreams”… but This movie has everything bad and nothing good going for it.

…wait strike that… it does have Courtney Cox and she is simply gorgeous. But I will never see a movie just based on an attractive person of any sex being in it.

…unless we are talking about Patrick Swayze of course. ;)

  2. I thought Night at the Museum when I saw the poster.

I hate Adam Sandler. I hate recent live-action Disney films save for Enchanted, so chances are I’ll hate this film if I even bother to see it.

  3. ***No, Phil Gee-!*** Think again!

It’s the reverse story of…. INKHEART! Which…just happens to be a film which was intended for l2008 but got shoved to early 2009. This was due to the WGa strike and the shuffle of the last films of New Line.

What’s “Inkheart” the rst of the int’l friends ask. Okay,. Here it is:

“Based on the 2003 German novel of the same name by Cornelia Funke, When Motimer Folcheart reads aloud from books, he has the ability to make the characters come out of the book, into real life. Mo discovered his power when his daughter Meggie, was just a baby. Mo read aloud from the book Inkheart, which caused several of the book’s wicked characters, including Capricorn, to literally come to life. But while he read them out of the book, he accidentally read Meggie’s mother, Theresa into the story.

Brendan Fraser, Paul Bettany, Sienna Guillory, Andy Serkis, Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren star in this film. By the way, I’d take any of those talents over Adam Sandler anyday.

    *********

  4. the poster reminds me of a simpsons episode….

the family tells each other stories & then we get to see the stories played out with the same characters characters filling in the roles of the stories…
