We learned yesterday that much IMAX action was going to bookend this film, and this excites me. I have become quite fond of the Harry Potter series, and am disappointed that this picture was pushed back. Until then, we can stare at released pictures and various clips to get us by.

The bottom picture is Romilda Vane she’s a small character in HBP. I’m actually a little surprised her character made it into the movie but since she is I can guess at a couple of scenes from the book that will be in the movie.
@Robert - I am in full agreement about the push back date…I’m still highly annoyed and disappointed.

I’m with you Doug. By the time July rolls around, they’ll have nothing left to show us, because they’ve shown us a ton of photos and early reviews are online already(and fans are ROYALLY PISSED that a few key sequences have been drastically altered or dropped altogether). If you are going to push the film back, you need to push back your promotional materials as well.

Ok, so Potter is now one of the summer tentpoles. But they plan these summer slots way in advance, to avoid crowding etc. Does this mean something that was scheduled to be a tentpole has fallen short? Any Warners movie that was being talked up for a summer release and has more recently gone dark?
If they’re just figuring (post Dark Knight) they can cram more into summer, then ok, nothing interesting, just wondered if some big release has got delayed or fucked up horribly.
