Love Guru was the final nail that told Myers that we are done with that gag.

It was funny the first 3 times, not so much anymore.

I don't think we have seen the end of Myers by far, but hopefully we have seen the end of the Guru.

I didnt say Mike was doing it TO save his career. I said it was a good move since Myers current cycle of character movies has been hurting his rep.

If he ends up in Inglorious Bastards it won't be because he chose to "reinvent" himself or anything, it will be because Tarantino wanted him and Myers' schedule allowed it. Tarantino seems to be going for a really odd cast in this case - he had already asked Sandler. He's basically picking various actors he wants in his movie - your post makes it seem like Myers is trying to get in to save his career. Myers has nothing to do with it - it's all Tarantino's game.

Haha, this is just getting ridiculous.

I can deal with one or two strange castings, but when you have Eli Roth, BJ Novak, and Mike Myers in a WWII film...I think Tarantino is getting ahead of himself.
