Kristen Bell joins Astroboy

In a star studded cast, Astroboy looks to be getting one more talent added to the list. Kristen Bell will add her sweet dulcet tones to the powerful voice cast.
Bell joins Nicolas Cage, Scarlett Johansson, Donald Sutherland, Bill Nighy, Nathan Lane, Eugene Levy, Freddie Highmore in Astro Boy, which tells the story of a powerful robot boy created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he has lost.
The article says she will be taking on the “lead female voice” which I am not sure who that might be.
Astro’s “sister”? Or is this a new character being added to the canon?
Either way, Kristen has a charmingly cute voice, so she should fit well.

I don’t know much about her as an actress, but I’m getting fed up with her voice. I’ve heard it on tv, heard it from my (admittedly silly) friends, heard it everywhere else as a message ringtone.
Enough.
I doubt Kristen will do the voice of Astro’s younger sister Uran, unless she change her voice to sound like a little kid. I’m guessing she will play Cathy/Kathy from HamEgg’s robot circus.
