Tropic Thunder Moves Release Date Up

For those of you who have been waiting for the new Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr and Jack Black flick “Tropic Thunder“, I’ve got some mildly good news for you… Paramount just let us know that they’ve moved the release date up by a few days to August 13th.
I’m actually going to see it at a press screening at Comic-Con next week (I love comic con!!!!). To be honest, I’m not really sure what to think about this movie yet. Aside from Robert Downey Jr as a black man (how hilarious does that look!), nothing in the trailers have really appealed to me all that much. I looks like it could be a poor man’s “Three Amigos”. But having said that, it has the potential to be hilarious too. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see which one it turns out to be.
