They are making a Top Gun 2.Why, we had to suffer and live with Top Gun 1,why makle us suffer more by making another one?

I’m not looking forward to Top Gun 2. From what I’ve read, it is just going to be an advertisement for UAVs, probably to convince the public how cool and inevitable they are. Personally, I can wait another 60 years for this movie.

the best movie in my life,,, i really loved it seen a part 2 would be great with more intense dog fighting quicker jets.. n see cruise took to the sky one last time in memory of goose take on a few students n show em he became instructor at topgun

Well it has been funny reading everyone’s comments about the filmmakers trying to do a sequal to Topgun2. I think the first topgun when I watch it now was a big recruiting ad during the cold war and since the threat of Russia has declined quite a bit they are still very much so a threat along side china/and N. kroea as we’ve seen recently against their attacks against S. Korea. They could still do the movie even with F-18 superhornet’s which are two seater fighter jet’s and still make a good movie with greater flying abilities than the f-14 had but the f-14 was quite the sexy fighterjet in my opnion. Im not sure who’d they get to do the acting but I’m sure they’d have some ideas. Who was the lil kid that played Gooses son?? he def would be a lil too old to be startin to learn how to fly since most pilots learn just before 24. …. I’d say there would have to a crisis situation again but between N. korea/and China. They equally hate us and both are threats and have fighterjets and not just our old used bought usa fighters. They actually have their own and Migs as well. Then they could use real migs and not F-5s painted over. And just because Russia wouldnt get involved if happen like recently the attacks against S. Korea to help the North out doesnt mean they arent supplying them either. They’re obviously a communist country as well. AS China too. Wonder how the relations between china would react? lol. hahaha. So def make a topgun2. There’s other threats than terrorist right now and always still threats. Do your homework Paramount…….

I would go see it but i think they need to change the plot a little. They should write so “Goose” comes back from the dead and kicks the crap out of “Maverick” for wrecklessly taking his life in the first movie. Besides im sure Anthony Edwards needs a paycheck by now. People will flock to this movie…….ohh yea im feelin it!! “Shove it into overdrive” or “I feel the need, the need for speed!”
