Patrick Swayze Cancer News – “I’m a Miracle Dude”

Back in March we heard the dread news that our beloved Patrick Swayze had Cancer. This was sad news indeed as this particular cancer has a very slim survival rate.

BUT NO ONE PUTS PATRICK IN A CORNER!! News has come out that he is responding well and surprisingly healthy looking.

MSN reports:

Just months after the actor was rumoured to be dying from Cancer, the 55-year-old appeared tanned and healthy as he walked through a Los Angeles airport at the weekend. The smiling star said: “I’m cooking. I’m a miracle dude. I don’t know why.”

Speaking to fans at the airport, he added: “I’m doing really well. I feel really good. I’ve put on 20 pounds. I should be dead right now. Look at me – I’m a miracle.”

Experts claim that Patrick’s dance background will be helping him fight the disease, which has just a five per cent survival rate.

You hear that? Dancing. I am dancing RIGHT NOW dammit!

So the fact that this man was one of the most fit people on the planet and could rip your trachea out with his tiger claw tia chi kung-fu grip is responsible for his highly unexpected immune system.

The years of abuse to his body was all made possible by first reaching the pinnacle of human form first. Gotta have a good foundation if you are going to start rocking the house I guess.

I am thankful to hear that he is doing so well. As people know, the Swayze has a special place in our hearts. He is the Alpha Male, and now it looks like even CANCER can’t slow him down.

Cheers Patrick, we wish you all the best and hope that this healthy you is not just a phase.

I am happy that his cancer is going away. But I also have the same cancer, same age, don’t smoke or drink and having chemo and radiation. I have already had the surgery and am somewhat confused as to why he has not had the surgery yet. This is also a very painful cancer. Continue to fight it and I will continue to pray for you and your family.

  2. No one is saying WHY Patrick is being spared from this tragic disease, but thankful that he appears to be, He is no more deserving than anyone else.

EVERYONE who survives a fatal cancer experiences the same miracle.

  3. I guess maybe the other 80-95% of people diagnosed with and killed by this disease just didn’t deserve a miracle huh?

Gah, people annoy me. If he comes out saying why he is one of the chosen few to be “miraculously” healed, I think I’ll puke.

  4. ahhh, I see. But, at the end of the day, there is no scientific basis on that anyway – and if anything, it would be merely the power of believing in ‘something’ that would give someone the positivity to keep fighting towards a recovery. The same way many people believe that prayer solves physical ills. So, on that basis, I still don’t really see how it would be a valid reason to bring up a person’s choice of belief into this…however, granted, it can be curiosity for some.

  5. Scientology reports to have a way of life that elevates the quality of living.

I think the concern was along the lines that they might rally to this positive turn for Patrick and try to claim some sort of credit for it since he is a member.

“Become a Scientologist! It Helps Beat Cancer!”

    ::headdesk::

  6. Last I heard he is still a Scientologist, but he doesnt promote it nor is he making any claims that their beliefs had anything to do with his state of health.

It might just be a matter of time.

But if he is a Scientologist, he keeps it under the radar, so we can respect that.
