Danielle+DerekThe business of Internet Porn is about to have its story told in Middle Men. We get the saucy scoop about this picture thanks to the professionals at Variety:

Writer-director George Gallo will direct Oxymoron Entertainment’s first feature, “Middle Men,” a comedy chronicling the start of the Internet porn biz.

Pic is being financed through Christopher Mallick’s Oxymoron. Mallick and Blue Star Entertainment’s William Sherak and Jason Shuman (“Bangkok Dangerous,” “The Messengers”) will produce. Script by Gallo and Andy Weiss centers on a straight-and-narrow businessman brought into a world that would eventually turn into a multibillion-dollar industry.

Internet porn has become as american as rock & roll and apple pie. The internet has changed the way people talk about pornography forever. People used to treat porn as something you keep secret and seldom discussed their favorite type of poison. With the ease of accessibility and success of the industry, everyone is aware that everyone is indulging in the medium and joking about internet porn is now an accepted part of common speak. The tentacles on pornography have grown 1000 fold thanks to internet technology; I for one, am thankful.

It was only a matter of time before a film like this was made, with luck those involved will nail it (so to speak) and have a successful first flight into the movie business.

We will track this project and be sure to keep you up to speed on the developments.
