wow. i’m glad to hear so many actually liked ang lee’s hulk. you only ever hear negative reviews of it. i did, except, obviously, for the ending.
the new hulk is indeed incredible. every bit as good as iron man but different as it should be. kudos to marvel for taking their properties in hand and making them what most of us aways knew they could be. i just wish jack kirby was alive to see all this. and i wish marvel would do something generous and public for his family to wipe away the memory of the way he was treated the last years of his life.

I’d like to be the first to say on here that i just saw the new incredible hulk, and it was far…. far better, than i expected.I did like th first hulk film, and i’d advise to take some of the first movie just for back plot. This movie shows the back plot in the first few min. of the opening credits so watch carefully. Get that popcorn and drink early so you don’t miss the story. I’m not going to spoil the movie for anyone… just say that, you will not be disappointed!

Sorry everyone,

Marvel made its blockbuster movie for this year and IRON MAN is it.
The HULK is gonna be another B Class superhero movie, I can just feel it.
Non stop action with no plot at all makes for mediocre movie.
Oh well, I just rent it on video when it comes out.
It will never make more than IRON MAN.

I’m confident that everyone will be more than pleasantly surprised, and that reviews will start pouring in that this is much more of a roller coaster ride than many are expecting.

This is the summer movie w/ it all:

Stellar Ensemble Cast

Sweeping Set pieces

Globe-spanning Chases

2 Sweethearts at its core

& 2 Gigantic Monster, duking it out in the Big Apple

Not to mention I think there are still a few surprises
in the humor & easter egg dept.

I’m seein’ it monday. SO psyched.

I’m hoping against all hope that this will turn out to be as good as the review makes it out to be. I didnt like some of the choices Ang Lee made in the first one but overall thought it was ok. What really worries me about the future of Marvel films is Zak Penn. This guy is a hack and one of the worst writers in H’wood. Thanks to him (and fellow hack Brett Ratner) X3 was terrible, Fantastic Four was fantastically underwhelming and now they’ve given him the reigns to Hulk, Cap America and Avengers?! I just hope someone will come along and polish up his likely future turds like Ed Norton apparently has done with Hulk

i get to see this movie tonight woot , dont be jealous just go and make friends with the people who have the copies that they show on the pre screeners night , which is monday….do it and give them lots of alcohol and weed…they will surely allow u to watch it with them before every one else gets to see it…ps they also like pizza!

Okay, I first must disagree with most of you and say that the “original” Hulk film was simply dreadful. All of the ridiculous backstory (which severely departed from the comic depiction) along with the self-indulgent direction of Ang Lee made the film unwatchable in my opinion. With the bar set this low, this new version has got to be better.
Unfortunately, I fear (based on the trailers I’ve seen) that this new version may have a plot line too similar to Iron Man. I mean, think about it: a guy gets super human powers and tries to use them for good, while, in the meantime, another guy also figures out a way to get super human powers and uses them for evil. Marvel may need to start varying its formula…

Yeah, I liked Ang Lee’s Hulk too. I think of it as the beginning – giving a reason for Banner’s condition and inner turmoil. Now all we need is “Hulk Smash!”, as they say.

I think this new Hulk film is going to hit the ground running. . .
