Daniel Craig Hurts Hand During Bond Production

It appears that 007 has hurt one of his mitts during the filming of Quantum of Solace. We are made aware of the injury thanks to the healing caves of Yahoo:

Daniel Craig was sent to the hospital after suffering a minor hand injury while filming the latest James Bond movie “Quantum of Solace” at Pinewood Studios near London.

“There was a minor incident on set,” Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group spokesman Steve Elzer told The Associated Press on Wednesday. “Daniel injured his hand. He sought medical attention. He was back on the set within a matter of hours and production went on.”

Right now a construction worker is slamming a hammer into their hand, cursing the winds, taking a break and heading back to work. Craig did the same thing, and it’s international news. I am not going to bitch and moan about reporting this news, its just strange that we need to be kept afloat about our celebrities to the point of minor injury. Thank goodness he didn’t pull his groin or shit his pants – because I can assure you; we would hear about it.

I am glad this minor injury wasn’t able to get in the way of Mr. Craig’s responsibilities. He is an outstanding Bond and I am very much looking forward to this next installment. I still wish they would have called it 22. It’s a much better name and a nod to the history of the character in film.
