First time I saw it, I shrugged it off as another routine kids flick, but (because I have two children) I saw it about 300 more times, and every time I saw it, I laughed harder. This is due to one of two things: 1) Multiple exposures allowed me to drop my dismissive assumptions about the film and finally see it objectively 2) Multiple exposures lowered my IQ appreciably, until I was finally able to connect with sub-par material on its own level Either way, I'm looking forward to the sequel. As for this casting news, it's really hard to care one way or another. I've never understood the point of casting high-profile actors in animated films. At best it adds nothing that any talented voice actor couldn't pull off, and at worst it simply draws you out of the film. "Hey... that's Ross from 'Friends!'" The first film really grew on me.
