Battle of the Batmans

By Rodney - June 27, 2008 - 20:37 America/Montreal

Forget the Freddy vs Jason vs Ash. This is Batman vs Batman vs Batman.

Everyone has their favourite Batman from the franchise (Mine’s Bale, sorry Mike) but now they have the chance to prove it!

Really well done. So much so, that I would dare to say I would go see this movie.

  1. Wow, that was pretty cool. The editing in Batman Begins certainly makes it easier. :)

  2. Ty says:

Holy shit that was badass excellent editing

  3. 790 says:

    The Man.
    1st. Bale
    2nd. Keaton
    3rd. Kilmer
    4th. Clooneys Stand in.

    Villians
    1st. Ledger (Joker) assuming.
    2nd. Nicolson (joker)
    3rd. Carrey (Riddler)
4th. Lee Jones (two face) so far.

  4. Mike says:

That was actually pretty awesome and yea id have to say i go with Bale is the best Batman followed by Keaton and the other two……we’ll just leave it at that i guess.

  5. Tim says:

Wow, 790, really? Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones? Those were anal-vomiting awful performances. I’d go with Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman and either Liam Neeson or Cillian Murphy from Begins. Tough split on that one.

  6. Brandon says:

How about Danny Devito as the Pengiun……..

  7. Robert(wolf) says:

Hahaha awesome and very well made.

  8. DarkKinger says:

Now, that kick ass! Hell, even I’d pay to see this.

  9. TKT says:

    Insane work of edting.
    AWESOME!

    MY LIST:

    1 Bale
    2 Keaton
    3 kilmer for the effort
4 clooney for the good loks as Wayne.

  10. 790 says:

Yeah Tim your right on, about Catwomen. I totally forgot. (Very tired today).
I replace Jones with Phiffer on my list!

I really didn’t think Neason was better than Carrey however. ;-) at least so far.

  11. Phil Gee says:

That was a flawless masterpiece, seriously. Thanks for sharing it Rodney.

  12. Batman Films:

    1. Batman Begins
    2. Batman Forever
    3. Batman
    4. Batman Returns
    5. Batman & Robin

  13. joonavar says:

Without a doubt it has to be Bale…I feel as though Batman didn’t truly come to life before the Bale injection.

  14. FredMillerTurdMonkey says:

Bale because I love him and he had the best Batman film. But Keaton looks pretty damn creepy and stands out in the vid.

  15. Rodney says:

I can’t believe you would rank ANY of the Schumacher Batman films as anything but last.

They were solely responsible for killing the genre for close to 8 years.

  16. Mr.Death says:

Hey hey hey! Where’s Adam West?

  17. John says:

YES MR. DEATH!!!! Where is Adam West?!?!?! The only TRUE Batman!! (and mayor of Quahog)

  18. Steven Carroll says:

I would definately pay to see that movie.

  19. Love it, but where was Adam West?

  20. Thos says:

What’s the secret to make that damn subway ad go away?

  21. Thos says:

Great editing! Yeah, that was awesome. The ads are REALLY annoying, though.

  22. Simon says:

Wow, thanks for that link. Awesome editing (I’m an editor myself). How much time did this guy have?? Anyway, I even forgot Clooney once was Batman? Wow, he was terrible as hell.
Although Bale still isn’t the perfect Batman, he’s by far the best one so far.
The best one ever is the comic one though (with the best Batmobile too)

  23. Rodney says:

Simon, at times Clooney has been quoted as forgetting he was Batman too. At one point he all but denied it in an interview.

I wish we could all forget but some hurts run too deep.

  24. Nixon says:

For those ppl who doesn’t know, editing has to do a lot with the movie,

So with this here , I’m not suprise, but you also have to understand that batman editing wasn’t that great !

Bad editing, for anyone to use it !

But I think Batman Begin has one of the shitty editing !

  25. Rodney says:

The editing of this mock trailer is incredible and has nothing to do with the original editing of those films. Editing is the assembly of clips and no one clip in this trailer used any transitions from the source material.

Aside from that, I am not sure what you were getting at with the editing in Batman Begins. It works just fine.

  26. andrew says:

I thought Keaton was the best, darkest Batman. Oh well! Thats my opinion. Great vid

  27. Jon says:

As long as we can all agree Clooney was the worst Batman and Mr Freeze was the worst villian…

  28. sfsilver says:

others have said it, but I was really hoping Adam west’s colorful campy Batman would come in at the end and KABAM! KAPLOWEE! kick everyone’s ass. I first fell in love with Batman as a kid in the early 70’s watching those Batman reruns and despite the gravity, darkness and intensity of the other cinematic incarnations, he’ll always be the real Batman to me.

  29. UltimateBatmanFan1989 says:

Keaton beats them all! But if Adam West was there, then we have a problem. His Anti-Batman Repelent would kill any other batman
