Anna Faris hopes to start Inferno this Summer

Seems today we are all about the porno. An update on the Biopic Inferno, the story of adult film actress Linda Lovelace who starred in the legendary “DeepThroat” which is set to star Anna Faris.

MTV keeps us in the loop:

“We’re still trying to put it together,” explained the affable actress, who will reportedly be appearing opposite Sam Rockwell in the flick. “I’m going to do ['Observe & Report' with Seth Rogen] first, and then hopefully we’ll get together for the summer.”“You’re not going to even know who I am,” she half-joked, discussing her plans for the portrayal. “I’m not there right now, but I will be when the time comes. I’ll be in a very dark place.”

This might be another sexy role after the quirky ditz playboy bunny in House Bunny, but this is not going to be her standard comedy fare.

Considering the most notable role Linda Lovelace is known for this might sound like a biopic of a pornstar, but after only a handful of films the “most famous porn star of all time” actually took on a crusade against porn after she came out to expose the abusive behaviour of her then husband Chuck Traynor.

This will be a dark film indeed. I hope that silly Anna can put aside her comedy chops and prove to be more than a pretty face.
