WALL-E Photos
We have some pictures to show you this morning from the upcoming Pixar film WALL-E. Thanks to our friends over at slashfilm for the hookup:

I love how emotive WALL-E is. The robot is able to convey a surprising amount of emotion with his eyes and body language. For additional pictures go to the source of the pictures over at slashfilm.

Look how far the art of animation has fallen.

@Bruce, why not back up your claim with facts? I think Pixar does a fantastic with their films, and a lot of people put very long hours and hard work into a film like this. It’s called CHANGING WITH THE TIMES. If you want old-school animation, go watch Felix the Cat.

But isn’t he just a smaller Johnny 5 from Short Circuit?
Dewey from Silent Running - now that was an emotional robot.

Just having Pixar’s name on it is enough to get me interested.

ho-hum. still can’t get excited about this as nice as those pix look. ever since Monsters Inc ,there seems to be a bi-yearly glut of these. From recent memory only Finding Nemo & the original Shrek stand out.

But Johnny 5 was created for combat, Wall-E was just created to clean up the Earth.

Is animation at the point now where the characters are solid objects and are forced to act as if using sign language? the whole film rides on getting peoples attention by having the textures look a little better than last years Ratatouille( they must have updated there cpu’s) and with lame generic cute acting that is all a robotic character can do. Pixar is obviously doing there job right if people are going nuts over this movie, but than again there are apart of disney.
jason, dont be so ignorant, if getting with the time is watching walls - e then good luck to u.
