i think that they should make a 2 one with maybe all the kids from the 1st one meet again now that their a teen ager and i love the first one so why not make a second one i hope they do couse i love school of rock and i would love to see school of rock 2

Speaking from a parents perspective, my son is 11 years old, he and all his friends loved the movie and they are looking forward to another one. When your an 11 year old boy, who is really into music and guitar, you see it as, how cool would it be to have a teacher like that.
So, yeah we are looking forward to the next school of Rock more so as a kids movie.

i think it would be a great movie i loved the frist one i play guitar my self and school of rock made me want to play more and me and my band went to the battle of the bands it was the best thing ever to happen to me jack black is so funny i would watch part 2 wether it sucked or not.

do the new movie the 1st one is the best movie ever and the sequal would be amazing! Jack Black is the best. i would deflinately see it for sure! I mean why woudn’t you?? it has jack black.

I agree, Jimmi. Jack IS entertaining. Tenacious D is very fun/funny. What’s not to like?

If they make it, I’ll see it. If it sucks, it sucks; I think they’ll do well, though.

Jack Black is the man. Tenacious D is genius.
Let the man make some kiddie movies and a whole lotta dough in the process, what’s the harm?
As a guitar teacher I have to admit that “School of Rock” was responsible for 99% of the children that came to me for lessons.
How many 9 year-olds do you know of who cared about AC/DC before SOR?
Just a thought.

I guess I would have to see what’s up with the sequel. I enjoyed the first film, and while not all films need sequels, if they treat them right, the sequels become a good compliment. It just depends on how they make the sequel.
