We have pilfered the cover of this weeks Entertainment Weekly to show you dudes. It features Josh Brolin as W and Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush. Thanks to ropeofsilicon for the hookup:
I like the duo. Brolin looks ok as W, but Banks nailed the essence of Laura Bush with that haircut and get up. This is a film I am itching to see, and I am very curious to see which way Stone takes this project.
Banks is still too pretty to play Laura:)
He looks diffrent than i thought he would. I kinda like it
Brolin looks more like his dad, James, than Bush.
I guess my dream of a Betty Brant movie has been put on further hold…

I am not a huge GW fan but Oliver Stone is a radical left-winger. How do you think this movie is going to turn out? It will bear no resemblance to reality at all. It will have to be released as a fantasy film.
Over the past couple of years Josh Brolin has been great in American Gangster, In The Valley of Elah, Planet Terror, The Dead girl, No Country for Old men.
He has not got cred due to one role he has been giving great performances in a series of films over the past few years and is now getting his well earned dues. Sure a lot of the films have been garbage but even when the film is bad he has been good in them.
I first started to like him in Best Laid Plans which is a cool little thriller from about ten years ago an I am glad to see him start to get the respect he deserves.
he is no over night undeserving star like some folks. He is a very solid actor and I am glad we are going to see him start to appear in more films. And he makes good choices in terms of projects for the most part. But if he decided to go for a blockbuster type film he would be my pick for Captain America but he is probably a little old now…..
oh and rumor has it this W film is in fact a comedy. well a satire but it is not a serious film like JFK or Nixon. It has a more bent warped take on things.
Looks like made for TV fare. No interest.

I know he’s damned if he does and damned if he don’t.
What I also know is that, yes,Liz Banks is a good actress. Josh Brolin is finally getting his due.
I also looked at that cover and laughed my ass off.
