Other "uber" director's films are just as bad only with loads more money - for instance Michael Bay (no story, just impressive effects/CGI and "cool" music - like a 2 hour video clip). At least Uwe attempts to tell a tale - badly so far but I have very high hopes for Postal. I'll even see that before the Indy film to avoid the crowds :) There are a ton of movies worse than Uwe’s – some of the spoof movies mentioned below are candidates.

If you think about it from the level of pure filmmaking skill, then maybe he is. If you think about it from the perspective of the personality of the person as well as their skill then no way. Boll is way too cool for that and i do respect that he only ever fucks up with his own money, and he somehow manages to get these big name actors into his films. Not to mention, he always bounces back no matter how big a disaster his last film was. Boll never stays down.
