Damm I have SST2 on dvd but I havnt watched it yet…
Is it really that bad?

Maybe I’ll pop it in and check it tonight??

I’ll eventually get the SST3 dvd just cause Jollean Balloch is in the movie. Shes looking hot in the pics I’m seeing from the film.

The first STARSHIP TROOPERS is nothing else but bloody brilliant. It’s not a serious movie, it’s a satire and a very smart one at that. I’m always startled by the fact that many people just don’t realize that.
The direct-to-DVD sequel was awful though. Man, that was a disappointment.

Doug, you’re going to cry when you see the second one. No shooting bugs in far off worlds should never be bad but in the sequel it is. I’d rather watch an Uwe Boll … 18 times in a row than watch SST2 again. But as you I loved the first and Verhoeven and well everything else about it so I’m super psyched for this one. The true sequel regardless if its the third installment or not.

I bought the second installment before I heard any of the reviews about it, assuming I would like it very much since I thoroughly enjoy the first.

I doubt you’ll be missing anything if you just keep on skipping it even with Marauders coming up.

Though seeing Kelly Carlson naked was a high point.
