It looks like Cruise, son of Cruise is going to be following in his parent’s footsteps. The 13 year old actor will appear in the Will Smith drama Seven Pounds. We get the following scoop from the fabled caves of Yahoo:
The 13-year-old son of Tom Cruise is following in his father’s footsteps. Connor Cruise, the adopted son of Tom Cruise and ex-wife Nicole Kidman, has a minor, non-speaking part in the upcoming Will Smith drama “Seven Pounds,” a spokesman for Columbia Pictures confirmed Tuesday. Connor Cruise shot his part over two days more than a month ago, playing Smith as a young man and mostly shown in photographs.
The son has begun to follow in the footsteps of his mother and father, and the family must be proud of his accomplishment. This very well could be a one time deal, but I am going to hazard a guess that we will see more of Connor as he ages. In time, I suspect he will make a go of it, and try to forge a career as a thespian for himself.
Connor Cruise is a damn fine name for the pictures, and we will watch this fellow with great interest to see how he develops as an actor.

Connor Cruise – a strong sounding name – a handsome young man and blessed in so many ways – all the best to a good, healthy and loving life ahead of him!
Hollywood nepotism is at an all-time high these days. Sometimes it works, sometimes it fails like mad(see Sofia Coppola in GFIII). Just have to wait and see on this one.
Speaking of famous kids trying to get famous on their own, Demi’s daughter Rumer is an ODD looking human being. That girl has a crazy potato head.
Now that he’s getting into acting I’m sure he’s allready a Theeton Jr.working his way toward clarity.
I don’t think I’m going to be following his carreer with great interest. Unless he turns to the dark side of the scientology force.
